An Giang Provincial Party Committee Approves Draft Inspection and Supervision Report by Politburo and Secretariat

On September 14, Inspection and Supervision Team No. 238 of the Politburo and Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam's Central Committee held a conference to approve the draft report on the results of the third inspection and supervision of the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee. The conference was chaired by Ms. Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Secretary of the Central Party Committee, Vice President of the State, and Head of the Inspection and Supervision Team. During the meeting, the recognition of September 10, 1945, as the Traditional Day of the An Giang Provincial Armed Forces was confirmed. This officially marks the historical background and development of the province's military organizations. Furthermore, a commitment was expressed to ensure the progress of key APEC 2027 projects. Vietnam is set to host the APEC Summit in 2027, making infrastructure development and international conference preparations national priorities. The An Giang Provincial Party Committee reported the adoption of 18 resolutions aimed at promoting socio-economic development. These are understood to be concrete policy guidelines intended to revitalize the regional economy, attract investment, improve infrastructure, and enhance social welfare. Additionally, the establishment of new Party committees and the renaming of the Provincial Propaganda and Training Department and the Mobilization Department within the An Giang Provincial Party Committee were mentioned. This is seen as part of efforts to maintain and strengthen Party leadership through the reorganization and functional enhancement of Party organizations. Moreover, it was revealed that the An Giang Provincial Party Committee is developing a flexible cadre planning program in preparation for the next term. This demonstrates the Vietnamese Communist Party's emphasis on long-term talent cultivation and its aim for stable governance. These reports illustrate the activities of local administration within Vietnam's one-party system and the nature of supervision and guidance from the central government. They suggest how the Vietnamese government's policies, aimed at sustaining economic growth and maintaining social stability, are being concretely implemented at the local level.
