Thai Binh Province has commenced infrastructure construction for the Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, with an investment of VND 2.4 trillion (approximately USD 120 million). This initiative aims to enhance investment attraction and revitalize the regional economy within the Thai Binh Economic Zone. The park, spanning nearly 600 hectares, is expected to foster future industrial clusters.
Construction for the infrastructure of the Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, with a total investment of VND 2.4 trillion (approximately USD 120 million), officially commenced on September 12 in Thai Binh Province, northern Vietnam. This project is situated within the South Subdivision (Green iP-3) of the Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, part of the Thai Binh Economic Zone, and is being developed and operated by Green i-Park Thai Binh Company. The Thai Binh Economic Zone has seen a notable recovery in investment attraction in recent years. The Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, in particular, boasts a vast area of nearly 600 hectares, with infrastructure development underway to actively attract both domestic and foreign investment. The groundbreaking for infrastructure construction is expected to accelerate the development of this industrial park and contribute to the revitalization of the regional economy. The Vietnamese government prioritizes foreign investment as a driving force for economic growth, with the development of industrial parks forming the core of this strategy. By promoting preferential policies and infrastructure investment in economic zones under its one-party system, Vietnam has aimed to foster industrial clusters and job creation. While Vietnam has strong economic ties with China, recent trends indicate a move towards diversifying supply chains, and the development of such large-scale industrial parks could lead to increased investment, particularly in strengthening competitiveness in the manufacturing sector. (Supplement) Thai Binh Province is located southeast of Hanoi and belongs to the Red River Delta region. While Vietnam's economy has maintained steady growth in recent years, addressing regional disparities is also a challenge, and the development of industrial parks is considered crucial for boosting local economies.
