Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win received a delegation led by Mr. Justin Brady, Head of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) in Yangon, Tuesday afternoon at the ministry's reception hall in Nay Pyi Taw. During the meeting, they openly and cordially exchanged views and discussed matters including the implementation of activities under the Letter of Agreement (LoA) signed between the Department of Disaster Management of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement and UNOCHA, the humanitarian assistance programs being carried out by the ministry, and mine action programs that the wish to collaborate on with the Department of Rehabilitation under its purview, it’s reported.
