Stricter Fines for Unleashed Dogs in Public Spaces: Up to VND 2 Million Penalty Under New Decree

Vietnam's government issued Decree 204 on June 11, introducing stricter penalties for violations in animal health. Effective August 1, owners will face fines of up to VND 2 million for letting dogs roam in public spaces or walking them without a leash, a significant increase from current regulations.
