Cambodia Praised for Mekong River Dolphin Conservation Efforts at IWC Meeting
Cambodia's efforts in managing, protecting, and conserving Mekong River dolphins have garnered international praise at the 70th meeting of the International Whaling Commission (IWC) in Hobart, Australia. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, measures including the establishment of a dolphin management zone in 2012 and the revised Fisheries Law in 2025 were highlighted.
