Robredo Defends P450-M Funding for Naga Coliseum Rehab

LEGAZPI CITY — Mayor Leni Robredo on Monday defended the P450 million in national government funding for the rehabilitation of the Jesse M. Robredo Coliseum in Naga City, which had been questioned by a congressman. Robredo said rehabilitation work is expected to begin in October, with the project now in the post-qualification stage after bidding was conducted. The coliseum is named after the late Jesse M. Robredo, former Secretary of the Interior and Local Government and the mayor's husband, and is a significant public facility for the community.
