Party inspectors approve Central Military Commission report, call for personnel reform

Party inspectors have approved the report of the Central Military Commission (HCMA) and its Standing Committee, stressing the need for personnel reform. This contributes to the drafting of key documents for the upcoming 14th National Party Congress, aiming to strengthen the Party's organization and advance national development strategies. Party General Secretary To Lam has called for continued fundamental reform in personnel training, emphasizing a practical, effective, and modern approach closely tied to the Party's strategic decisions. The HCMA has proactively expanded training curricula for strategic-level leaders from various countries, further deepening Party-to-Party diplomacy. Vietnam will continue to play an active and responsible role in multilateral mechanisms and promote international cooperation based on respect for international law, greater trust, and joint efforts to address common challenges. Recent diplomatic activities include the state visit of the King and Queen of Thailand to Vietnam, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung's engagements at the BRICS Summit, and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on health cooperation between Vietnam and the US. Prime Minister Hung has identified Saudi Arabia as an important partner in the Middle East and expressed a desire to further develop bilateral relations. He also requested continued support for the operations of Lumitel, a joint venture of Vietnam's Viettel Group in Burundi, aiming to make it a symbol of bilateral cooperation.
