Pattaya Firefighters Safely Capture 2-Meter Python in Residential Garden

PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya firefighters safely captured a young python measuring approximately two meters long after it was spotted in the garden of a residential village near the Ford Center on Sukhumvit Road on the morning of August 2. Although the snake did not injure anyone, its unexpected appearance alarmed residents, prompting them to call emergency services for assistance. At approximately 9:35 a.m., the Pattaya City Fire Station (Jomtien Division) dispatched Engine 410 and a rescue team to the scene after receiving reports of the reptile in the neighborhood. Firefighters successfully captured and removed the python without incident, ensuring the safety of nearby residents as well as the snake, which will be relocated to a suitable natural habitat. Pattaya City reminded residents and visitors that emergency response teams are available 24 hours a day to assist with fires, road accidents, dangerous animals and other emergencies.
