Preah Vihear Governor Urges Investment Plans to Meet Citizen Needs and Ensure Transparency

Preah Vihear Governor Kim Rithy strongly urged all levels of authorities and relevant ministries within the province to enhance cooperation with development partners and civil society organizations. This is to ensure that all proposed investment projects are highly effective, transparent, and responsive to the actual needs of local residents. The governor made these remarks during a consultation forum on the development of the Preah Vihear Provincial Administration's Triennial Rolling Investment Program (2027-2029), which he presided over on September 16, 2026. During the event, the governor emphasized that formulating an investment plan is a crucial process for determining the direction of local development. Therefore, the planning process must ensure inclusivity and responsiveness to the actual needs and challenges faced by the residents.
