Ayeyawaddy Region Chief Minister U Aye Kyaw inspected ongoing rehabilitation process within the region on Saturday. In Kyonpyaw Township, the Chief Minister paid homage to the Mingalar Kan Oo Monastery presiding Sayadaw and donated offertories. He then met with the flood-affected residents, expressed words of encouragment and provided basic foodstuff and supplies. Subesequently, the Chief Minister provided basic foodstuff and supplies to the residents of Pin Lon Ward returning to their homes as floodwaters recede. The Chief Minister then visited Nat Kan Bridge in Thaung Ywar Village-tract, inspected the water flow of Dar Ka Creek through drainage channel and provided foodstuff and supplies to the residents of Phoe Htaung Village. At indoor stadium, the Chief Minister met with flood victim residents, provided basic foodstuff and suplies. The Chief Minister also oversaw chlorination process to ensure purified drinking water for the residents. Upon arrival at General Hospital in NgaThaingChaung Township, the Chief Minister oversaw the collective cleaning activities to reopen the hospital as floodwaters recede, and provided foodstuff to the participants. Next, the Chief Minister and officals provided basic foodstuff and supplies to the residents of Aung San Ward returning to their homes as floodwaters reced, and oversaw the resumption of business operations.
