GSIS Refunds Over P9 Billion to Over 500,000 Members

THE Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has refunded P9.06 billion to more than 500,000 members and pensioners through its expanded Balik Ginhawa 2 program, 24 days after its implementation, the state pension fund said on Tuesday. Including the original Balik Ginhawa program, GSIS has returned more than P18 billion in loan amortizations. The GSIS Touch mobile app now allows members and pensioners who received less than their expected refund to check for remaining refundable amounts and apply for them.
