
Former Party Official and Associates Arrested for Embezzlement in Southern Vietnam
Vo Chi Cong, former head of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Organization Committee and currently deputy head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Can Tho City Party Committee, has been arrested for allegedly misappropriating approximately 3.8 billion VND in public funds. Three former subordinates are also arrested as accomplices, facing charges of violating Party regulations and state laws.
