Cambodia's Kep Province Sees Marine Resource Recovery, Fisherfolk Urged to Conserve and Process for Livelihood Improvement

Cambodia's Kep Province is experiencing a recovery in marine resources and ecosystems thanks to the Sustainable Coastal and Marine Fisheries Project (SCMF). The presence of rare marine species has been confirmed, prompting the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to urge fisherfolk to conserve resources and process aquatic products for improved livelihoods. This was announced during the inauguration of a new fisheries administration building and a review of the project's progress.
