However, the Kingdom of Cambodia is not in the direct path of Tropical Depression Bavi. This weather pattern is expected to bring rain, gusts, and thunderstorms to parts of the country from July 3 to July 5, 2026: 1. Low-lying areas: Average minimum temperature 25°C, average maximum temperature 36°C. Winds blowing from the southwest and northwest at an average speed of 3 meters/second. Provinces such as Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Pursat, Siem Reap, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Thom, Kampong Cham, Tboung Khmum, Svay Rieng, Prey Veng, Takeo, Kandal, and Phnom Penh city may experience rain with gusts and thunderstorms, covering 60% of the land. 2. Highlands: Average minimum temperature 24°C, average maximum temperature 35°C. Winds blowing from the southwest and west at an average speed of 3 meters/second. Provinces such as Kampong Speu, Pailin, Oddar Meanchey, Preah Vihear, Kratie, Stung Treng, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, the Dangrek mountain range, and the Cardamom Mountains region may experience rain with gusts and thunderstorms, covering 50% of the land. 3. Coastal areas: Average minimum temperature 25°C, average maximum temperature 35°C. Winds blowing from the southwest and southeast at an average speed of 2 meters/second. Provinces such as Koh Kong, Preah Sihanouk, Kampot, Kep, and the Bokor mountain area may experience rain with gusts and thunderstorms, covering 50% of the land.
