On July 3, a vehicle carrying weapons and ammunition of the interim government army arrived at Set Daung Gyi and was subsequently transported further towards Bayar Gyi. Additionally, approximately 100 sacks of rice and other provisions were further supplied to Set Daung Gyi, from where they were transported to Bayar Gyi using motorboats, it is known. Three wounded soldiers were brought back by the vehicle transporting provisions. A captain who sustained severe injuries could only walk a short distance, while the other patients had to be carried on stretchers, it is known. These wounded soldiers were transported by motorboat from the Kambargyi area, according to eyewitnesses. "The situation is not good even in the areas where the army's heavy artillery is stationed. Soldiers and wounded are arriving almost daily by motorboat to Set Daung Gyi and Bayar Gyi," a ground source told Ayeyarwaddy Times. It is further known that on the morning of July 4, an open-top white truck of the interim government army, carrying about 10 soldiers and provisions, was heading from Tharpawng towards Sae Phyu. The interim government army is continuously supplying food and military equipment to its front-line bases, including Set Daung Gyi village, and is also continuously transferring its troops who have been injured in battles. Currently, the main bases and outposts of the interim government army along the Rakhine-Ayeyarwaddy border are being successively captured by the Arakan Army (AA) and allied local defense forces.
