Jakarta Provincial Government Partners with Marine Corps to Enhance Capital Security

The Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov DKI Jakarta) is strengthening its cooperation with the Indonesian Navy's Marine Corps (Korps Marinir TNI AL) to maintain and ensure security in the capital. This partnership was solidified when Muhammad Matsani, Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial National Unity, Politics, and Public Relations Agency (Kesbangpol), visited the Marine Corps Headquarters in Cilandak, South Jakarta, and met with Major General TNI (Mar) Ili Dasili, Commander of Marine Force 1 (Danpasmar 1). According to a press release received in Jakarta on Tuesday (7/7), the meeting aimed to discuss various efforts to keep the capital region secure and conducive. The meeting also aimed to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the Indonesian Navy and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. At the end of the meeting, Commander Ili stated that they had agreed on a range of collaborations aimed at maintaining Jakarta's conduciveness. "We are always open to collaborating with regional governments in maintaining national unity and integrity, as well as increasing public awareness of the importance of security in the DKI Jakarta region," said Commander Ili. At the same time, Matsani expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from Pasmar 1.
