Myanmar's fourth largest bronze bell to be cast and hung

It is known that a large bronze bell, which will become the fourth largest in Myanmar, will be cast and hung within the Kyaitdetamobrat Korinlay religious precinct in Puphawadi village, Ye Township. The large bronze bell has been given the title "Ramanya Atuladhamma Razika," and according to a trustee, the Korinlay monk has instructed that it be cast with a weight of (25) tons, approximately (15,300) viss of bronze, a height of (18) feet, and a bell width of (9) feet. He further stated, "After this large bronze bell is cast, it will be hung with a roof structure in the courtyard of the Pitakat stone inscription within the Korinlay religious precinct." It is also reported that for the casting of the large bronze bell, donors have been daily bringing and donating various items made of bronze, such as bronze betel boxes, bronze basins, and bronze lamps, to the Korinlay monk. He further stated that all received bronze items will be inspected, and ancient artifacts will be preserved as a small museum, while the remaining bronze items will be used in the casting of the bell. It is known that the current largest bronze bell in Myanmar is the Minkun Great Bell in Sagaing Region, weighing (555,555) viss. The second largest bronze bell is the Thayawady King's Bell, weighing (26,000) viss, located on the platform of the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon Region. Similarly, it is known that the third largest bell in Myanmar is the Siri Sumana Great Bell, weighing (16,000) viss, which is hung at the Siri Sumana Chaung Dhamma Yeiktha in Sagaing City, Sagaing Region, and that this bell was cast in Mandalay City in (2020). Once the "Ramanya Atuladhamma Razika" bronze great bell is cast and hung within the Kyaitdetamobrat Korinlay religious precinct in Puphawadi village, Ye Township, it will become the fourth largest bronze great bell in Myanmar. Bhaddanta Puppharama, the Korinlay monk of Kyaitdetamobrat, located in Puphawadi village, Ye Township, on the Mawlamyine-Ye road, is a famous preacher in Mon State, and although many pilgrims from various regions used to visit the Korinlay religious precinct, it is currently known that the number of pilgrims has decreased due to the security situation in the area.
