It is reported that one person was arrested on July 2 with 1,970 WY pills, and another on July 5 with 170 WY pills, making a total of two arrests. "The PDF has currently filed a case and is preparing to impose penalties in accordance with the law. The two individuals arrested are from the SAC's Pyusawhti areas. Previously, the judiciary has imposed the highest penalties for drug offenses," said a spokesperson for the Kantbalu PDF. He stated that since the military coup, drugs have become more widespread, and the military junta has been using drugs as a weapon not only for profit but also to suppress the resistance movement. It is reported that the arrested individuals confessed that the drugs were intended for sale to military personnel and Pyusawhtis in Than Gone village. The Kantbalu PDF has urged the public to provide information regarding drug trafficking. Furthermore, the Monya District PDF and the Depayin Township PDF jointly arrested a drug trafficker and distributor in Depayin Township, as announced by the Depayin PDF on July 4. This individual was sentenced to 15 years in prison by the Depayin Township Court.
