He rushed back to find the two suspects dismantling a refrigerator fan. The owner then called the suspects into his office for questioning. Inside the office, it was discovered that two of the victim's computers and $30,000 in cash, which had been kept in a drawer, were missing. One of the suspects was also found to be hiding the victim's mobile phone behind his back. The victim recovered his phone, but the cash was not found. The two suspects attempted to leave the scene but were apprehended by the owner, who then reported the incident to the Chom Chao 3 Sangkat Police Station.
