Laos and Myanmar Ink Deal for Mekong Border Hydropower Feasibility Study

Laos and Myanmar have signed an agreement to jointly conduct a feasibility study for a hydropower project on the Mekong River along their shared border. The proposed project aims for an installed capacity of up to 2,790 megawatts, enhancing regional energy cooperation and strengthening bilateral ties.
