CAAP Extends Notam for GenSan Airport Post-Mindanao Quake

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has extended the prohibition of commercial flights at General Santos Airport until June 14, following damage from a magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Mindanao. While government, military, and humanitarian flights remain permitted, airport facilities sustained damage, with repairs aiming for completion within a week. The earthquake has resulted in 47 deaths, with numerous injuries and missing persons reported.
