Outgoing AFP Chief Honored; Successor Selection is President's Prerogative
Philippine Armed Forces Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. received a testimonial parade at the Philippine Military Academy ahead of his retirement on July 20. Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. emphasized that the selection of the next AFP chief is solely the President's prerogative.
