The donation was presented on the afternoon of July 8, 2026, at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Lieutenant General Vong Vasna, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the General Command, represented the Commander-in-Chief in handing over the funds. The donation was received by Mrs. Pen Sophea, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, who represented His Excellency Dr. Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance. During the ceremony, Mrs. Pen Sophea expressed her profound gratitude to all leaders, officers, and soldiers who voluntarily contributed to support the Cambodia Kuntha Bopha Foundation, ensuring its sustainability in saving and treating the lives of Cambodian children. Lieutenant General Vong Vasna stated that the contributions from the leaders, officers, and soldiers of the General Command are made regularly every quarter. He emphasized that although the amount collected may not be substantial, it demonstrates the spirit of sharing and responsibility towards society and the children who are the future bamboo shoots.
