Vietnamese, Chinese border guards hold field exercises

Vietnamese and Chinese border guards have conducted field exercises aimed at strengthening security and social order in border regions. This initiative is part of concrete cooperation to advance the bilateral comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership to a new phase. In recent years, the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership has seen positive progress, with regular high-level exchanges and broader cooperation across various fields. Cultural, educational, and tourism exchanges, people-to-people interactions, and ties between localities have also received increased attention. The joint field exercises by the border guards can be seen as a demonstration of this deepening cooperation. The fourth conference of the procuracies of Vietnamese and Chinese border localities, held in Lang Son province, provided a forum for prosecutors from both countries to exchange practical experience. This contributes to maintaining security and social order and building a peaceful, stable, and developing Vietnam-China border. Vietnam is channeling global financial resources into concrete education projects, creating opportunities for Vietnamese education enterprises to engage more deeply in international financial networks and cooperation. This contributes to the policy of mobilizing private resources for education and developing high-quality human capital for Vietnam. Vietnamese students and researchers in the US are also positioned as "knowledge ambassadors," serving as a direct link between the education and innovation ecosystems of the two countries. Furthermore, Vietnam is advancing plans to connect its national digital identification application, VNeID, with the electronic identification systems of Singapore and Laos, with a view to expanding the connection to other ASEAN countries in the future.
