Luzon Parts to Experience Continued Monsoon Rains on Saturday
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration forecasts that the southwest monsoon will continue to bring rains to parts of Luzon on Saturday. Continuous monsoon rains are expected particularly in Zambales, Bataan, and Pangasinan.
The southwest monsoon, locally known as "habagat," will continue to bring rains over parts of Luzon on Saturday, according to the state weather bureau. In its 5 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that monsoon rains, or continuous rains, will prevail over Zambales, Bataan, and Pangasinan. The weather condition is typical for this period in the Philippines, as the southwest monsoon brings significant rainfall to the western sections of the country, often leading to disruptions in daily life and potential flooding in low-lying areas.
