AMRO Lowers Philippines Growth Forecast Amid Inflation, Weak Investment

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations Plus 3 (ASEAN+3) Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) has lowered its economic growth forecast for the Philippines to 3.3% this year, citing high inflation and weak public investment. Projections for up to 2027 were also reduced, falling below government targets.
