Vietnamese Vessel Sinks Near Philippine-Claimed Reef, 23 Missing

A Vietnamese cargo vessel carrying 62 crew members sank near Fiery Cross Reef, also known as Kagitingan Reef by the Philippines, in the South China Sea. While 39 have been rescued, 23 remain missing, prompting a joint search by Chinese, Vietnamese, and Philippine vessels and a helicopter.
