Meeting with Officers : Deputy C-in-C meets with military officers

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) General Kyaw Swar Lin met with officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) at Zeya Thiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday. During the meeting, General Kyaw Swar Lin expressed his pride in officers carrying out national defence duties and recalled Myanmar’s struggle for independence from British colonial rule. He said the country’s strategic geographical location between two major powers has made it subject to external influence. He emphasized the challenges posed by armed insurgencies to national unity since independence and stressed the need to remain strong and resilient to overcome current challenges. He urged all to develop expertise in their respective fields while maintaining strong mental and physical fitness to strengthen the capabilities of the Tatmadaw. He also urged officers to prevent information security breaches, comply with laws and regulations, remain loyal to the State and Tatmadaw, foster patriotism.
