Gasoline prices rise, diesel prices fall in Yangon

In Yangon's fuel market, gasoline prices for Octane 92 and 95 have slightly increased, while diesel prices have slightly decreased, according to prices released by the Committee for Supervising the Import, Storage and Distribution of Fuel Oil. The prices for Octane 92 and Octane 95, which had not changed from September 1 to 10, became 3825 kyats per liter for Octane 92 and 3950 kyats per liter for Octane 95 on September 11. As a result, Octane 92 increased by 115 kyats per liter, and Octane 95 increased by 135 kyats per liter. Regular diesel and premium diesel were found to have decreased by 90 kyats per liter each on September 11 compared to September 1. The Committee for Supervising the Import, Storage and Distribution of Fuel Oil calculates and releases daily reference prices for fuel oil based on Singapore fuel oil prices (MOPS).
