Hun Many Urges Cambodian Youth to Showcase Nation's Positives on Global Stage

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service, and President of the Cambodian Youth Federation (CYFU), H.E. Hun Many, has instructed the 12 Cambodian youth delegates who will participate in the World Youth Festival 2026 in Russia to showcase Cambodia's positive aspects more on the international stage. During a meeting with the youth delegation on September 10, 2026, H.E. Hun Many emphasized the importance of maintaining unity, understanding Cambodia's history deeply, and adhering to soft power diplomacy. The Deputy Prime Minister stated that history serves as a lesson for future generations to understand the value of peace and the current development Cambodia enjoys. He also urged the delegation to study and observe how world-class youth festivals are organized, and to deeply analyze the objectives and dissemination mechanisms of such events. This is to explore the possibility of Cambodia hosting similar international youth events in the future. Furthermore, H.E. Hun Many encouraged the youth delegates to exchange knowledge and experiences with young people from various countries, and to utilize this opportunity as a platform for learning, expanding their networks, and demonstrating the identity, capabilities, and potential of Cambodian youth to the international community.
