Dr. Men Sam An emphasized that veterans are individuals who have made immense contributions to the nation, symbolizing sacrifice and dedication in the struggle for national liberation. Each family received: one bag of rice, one case of instant noodles, one dozen fish sauce, one dozen soy sauce, one dozen canned mackerel, one sarong, one krama, two solar lamps, one package of medicine, and 200,000 Cambodian Riels (approximately $50 USD). In response to this noble act of generosity, the 25 veteran families expressed their joy and profound gratitude to Prime Minister Hun Sen and all levels of leadership within the Veterans and Retirees Association. They thanked them for their constant warmth and for never abandoning veterans in times of hardship.
