More than half of farmers' loans unlikely to be repaid

Over 52% of Thailand's 3.97 million farmer debtors are unlikely to repay their loans in their lifetime, according to the Puey Ungphakorn Institute for Economic Research (PIER), citing persistent debt cycles and structural repayment issues.
