The military junta carried out aerial attacks for over 50 minutes, from 10:00 PM to 10:55 PM on July 13th. Approximately 52 bombs were dropped in a total of about 10 sorties, with 4 sorties by fighter jets and 6 sorties by Y-12 transport aircraft. "More than 6 villages in Gwa are flooded. Yahainphya is also flooded. They are bombing us because they are shamefully losing battles on the border between Gwa and Ayeyarwaddy," a source told the Ayeyarwaddy Times. The bombs fell on the foothills at the edge of the fields north of Kwinlyarshei village, the fields west of Yahainkwin village, and the foothills at the edge of the fields east of Kyuangone village in Gwa Township. In addition, one bomb fell on the main road in Kyuangone village, and another bomb fell on the house of a civilian named U A Nyi. Although these two bombs did not detonate, the house of U A Nyi sustained damage due to the bomb falling on it, according to APM. On July 10th, the military junta also carried out aerial bombings on Kala Chaung village and Pauk Too village in the Dani village tract of Gwa Township. As a result, four civilians were killed and one was seriously injured in Kala Chaung village, and a school and seven residential houses were destroyed in Pauk Too village.
