YANGON, July 1 The terrorist military is transporting the bodies of soldiers killed in battles in southern Chin State to Chaukhtoo town for cremation, a source from the resistance told Khit Thit Media. Since mid-May, the military has been launching offensives using thousands of troops in Myaingtaw Township and Kanpetlet Township in southern Chin State, passing through Magway Region. This has resulted in a large number of casualties among soldiers. While previously bodies were buried in large and small pits along the roadside, in recent days, the deceased have been transported to Chaukhtoo town and cremated in the Chaukhtoo cemetery. "In recent days, they have been transporting them to Chaukhtoo and cremating them in the Chaukhtoo cemetery. There are many bodies, and it has been going on for two or three days. They have been cremating them continuously. They call about four or five local people. They transport the injured and the bodies from the Myaingtaw road to Chaukhtoo. The injured are being treated in Kan Chaung village," the resistance source told Khit Thit Media. Currently, the military column has reached the vicinity of the golf course, about 2 miles from Myaingtaw town, but has been unable to approach Myaingtaw town and has been forced to retreat repeatedly. The military, suffering such losses, is conducting airstrikes daily. On July 1, at 4:29 AM, 4:34 AM, 4:37 AM, and 4:42 AM, two jet fighters from the SAC's Tate Oo Air Base dropped 8 bombs in 4 sorties on the eastern part of Myaingtaw Township. Additionally, from 5:00 AM to 5:50 AM, three Y12 aircraft dropped over 40 bombs in 14 sorties.
