Vietnam's Communist Party Accelerates Digital Transformation of Administration

Vietnam's Communist Party is steadily modernizing its administrative system, achieving notable changes in the political system through the implementation of Politburo Resolution No. 57 and Secretariat Decision No. 204 on digital transformation in party agencies. As part of this initiative, training sessions on the application of the 'Electronic Party Member Handbook' have been conducted to ensure its effective utilization. Focus is placed on definitively resolving the bottlenecks in digital transformation within party agencies. Particular emphasis is placed on creating a breakthrough in digital transformation across the entire Organization and Party Building sector. Furthermore, the development of the Party's ideological and propaganda strategy in the era of digital transformation is identified as a crucial task. This push for digitalization is seen as part of the Vietnamese Communist Party's efforts to enhance administrative efficiency and transparency under its one-party system. In a rapidly growing Vietnam, modernizing the party organization, which forms the backbone of national governance, holds significant implications for building international relations and fostering further domestic economic development.
