Cambodia Cracks Down on Illegal Fishing Gear During Closed Season

A crackdown on illegal fishing gear was conducted in Siem Reap province, Cambodia, during the closed fishing season. A joint team confiscated and destroyed numerous illegal fishing tools, including nets and traps, and released approximately 50 kilograms of juvenile fish back into the lake as part of efforts to protect Tonle Sap Lake's fishery resources.
