LPA Outside PAR May Enter Philippines, Moderate Chance of Becoming Typhoon
A low-pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) has a "moderate" chance of developing into a typhoon and may enter the PAR by Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning, the state weather bureau said. The LPA could bring rainfall to a large part of the Philippines.
