Senator Marcoleta Undergoes Health Check Before Jail Commitment Amid Plunder Case
Senator Rodante Marcoleta, 72, is undergoing medical examinations prior to his commitment to a jail facility following the issuance of an arrest warrant in connection with a P75-million plunder case. The Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary stated the health check is expected to take about two days. Marcoleta had voluntarily appeared at the Sandiganbayan before the warrant was served, after which he was arrested.
