Man Arrested on Pattaya Beach for Disturbing Tourists, Found with Drugs and Knife

A homeless man, known for repeatedly disturbing tourists and causing problems on Pattaya Beach, was arrested on September 9th. He was reportedly found in possession of suspected methamphetamine, drug-use paraphernalia, and a knife. Pattaya municipal officers were called to the scene after receiving reports of the man's disruptive behavior towards tourists. During the intervention, one municipal officer was reportedly confronted and nearly assaulted by the man while attempting to warn him about his conduct. Members of the public who live and work nearby stepped in to help control the situation and prevent it from escalating further. Pattaya municipal officers then contacted Pattaya City Police, who arrived to assist and ensure the situation did not develop into further trouble. A search reportedly found a quantity of suspected methamphetamine, drug-use equipment, and a knife. During the incident, the man reportedly told those present that he had purchased methamphetamine for 25 baht per tablet. This claim of a reportedly low price shocked members of the public who heard it.
