Vietnam Proposes Expanding North-South Expressway by Nearly 1,000 km to Six Lanes

Vietnam has announced plans to expand nearly 966 km of its Eastern North-South Expressway to six lanes. The project, to be implemented through Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) contracts, is estimated to cost over 150 trillion VND (approximately $6.1 billion USD). This expansion aims to increase traffic capacity and improve safety.
