AL initially contacted FR through MiChat and asked her to come to his apartment. However, FR brought her friend, JS. Upon meeting, AL refused to engage in sexual relations with FR because her appearance differed from her profile picture, opting instead to proceed with JS. Following their encounter, a dispute arose over payment. The two suspects allegedly demanded an additional Rp 4.5 million from AL for "extra services." When AL refused, the suspects persisted in their demand. Police stated that AL, feeling cornered by the relentless demands, threatened to jump from the 12th floor of the apartment. The suspects reportedly responded by saying he could jump if he refused to pay the additional amount. AL then jumped from the 12th floor, holding his mobile phone, and died.
