3,400-Ton Arch for Saigon River Pedestrian Bridge Nears Completion
Ho Chi Minh City is nearing completion of a massive 3,400-ton, 187-meter steel arch for a pedestrian bridge spanning the Saigon River. Designed to resemble a water coconut leaf, a symbol of the South, it's slated for transport and installation in late August. The project, costing nearly VND 1 trillion (approx. $40 million), aims for completion by National Day on September 2nd.
