カンボジア情報省は、タイ職員がカンボジア当局からの事前の通知や許可なしに、オーストラリアのABCニュースを含む外国人ジャーナリストをオスマッハ地域に連れて行ったとされることを受けて、「度重なる違反」と称して強く抗議した。 同省は、オスマハはカンボジアの完全な主権と領土保全の下にあり、同地域へのいかなる無許可の立ち入りも、同省が「捏造した情報」と呼ぶものの作成は重大な国際法違反に当たると述べた。
