National Bank of Cambodia Revokes Licenses, Orders Liquidation of Three Banks

The National Bank of Cambodia has announced the revocation of licenses and the initiation of liquidation proceedings for three banks: CCB Commercial Bank Plc, Heng Heang (Cambodia) Plc, and HHC (Cambodia) Plc. This decision is based on existing laws and regulations. Rich & Partners Company has been appointed as the liquidator for CCB Commercial Bank Plc, while Beker Tilly (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. will handle the liquidation of Heng Heang (Cambodia) Plc and HHC (Cambodia) Plc. These appointed companies will proceed with the liquidation procedures in accordance with the law and regulations from the date of their appointment. Customers with deposits in these three banks are required to prepare their documents to request the withdrawal of their deposits. These withdrawals will be processed and settled according to the priority order stipulated by the Law on Banking and Financial Institutions. Borrowers who owe money to these banks must continue to fulfill their regular repayment obligations.
