Debsirin School Shooting: Student's PC Reveals Watch History of School Shootings, Roblox Gun Links
In the wake of the Debsirin Nonthaburi School shooting, police discovered a YouTube watch history on the 15-year-old suspect's computer containing videos of overseas school shootings and Roblox links related to firearms, suggesting potential influences behind the tragedy.
NONTHABURI — Police examining the computer of the student who carried out the shooting at Debsirin Nonthaburi School found a YouTube watch history containing videos about school shootings and mass shooters, as well as Roblox links related to handling firearms. This discovery sheds light on potential influences behind the tragedy. The incident unfolded on Thursday, August 7, 2026, when police responded to reports of two fatalities at a house in Bang Bua Thong district, Nonthaburi. A 73-year-old man was found dead from gunshot wounds in the kitchen, while his 74-year-old wife was discovered deceased on a second-floor bed. The couple were identified as the grandparents of the 15-year-old student accused of the school shooting. Investigators stated that the boy used his grandfather’s 9mm handgun to kill both grandparents in the early morning before proceeding to the school, where he caused multiple casualties. During a search of the residence, officers uncovered a desktop computer. Its search history revealed access on July 30, over a week prior to the shooting, to YouTube videos detailing overseas school shooting incidents and Roblox links pertaining to firearm handling. This finding re-emphasizes societal concerns regarding the influence of extremist online content on juvenile delinquency.
