The Indonesian National Police's Criminal Investigation Department (Bareskrim Polri) has dismantled an illegal operation in Klaten, Central Java, involving the illicit transfer and resale of subsidized 3kg LPG gas cylinders into non-subsidized ones. Two individuals were arrested. This fraudulent practice diverted energy intended for low-income communities and prevented a potential state loss of approximately IDR 6.7 billion (around USD 420,000).
