Vietnam is securing one of its largest exhibition spaces ever at the China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO), featuring 170 booths. With nearly 100 businesses participating, the initiative aims to expand access to the Chinese market and deepen economic ties through trade and investment promotion.
Vietnam is stepping up its efforts to promote trade and investment at the China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) held in Nanning, China. According to the CAEXPO Secretariat, Vietnam will lease an exhibition area of approximately 3,000 square meters, featuring 170 booths, making it one of the largest exhibition spaces among ASEAN countries at this year's event. This move signifies Vietnam's strong commitment to expanding its access to the Chinese market and further deepening economic ties. Nearly 100 Vietnamese businesses have confirmed their participation, including major brands such as Trung Nguyen Group, TH Group, Saigon Coffee, and Biti’s. These companies will have the opportunity to showcase their products and services to Chinese buyers and consumers. CAEXPO is recognized as a crucial platform for economic cooperation between Vietnam and China, particularly in trade and investment. The Vietnamese government views this expo as an effective means to enhance the international competitiveness of domestic enterprises and diversify export markets. While Vietnam's economy has experienced remarkable growth in recent years, strengthening its relationship with the vast Chinese market is essential for sustained development. Under its one-party system, economic growth is a key pillar supporting the legitimacy of the Vietnamese government, which promotes an export-driven growth strategy. China is Vietnam's largest trading partner, and the economic relationship between the two countries is highly interdependent. Vietnam's large-scale participation in CAEXPO reaffirms the importance of this economic relationship and is expected to lead to supply chain stability and the creation of new business opportunities.
