NUG sends congratulatory letter to joint forces that attacked Tachileik Air Base

Ayeyarwaddy Times, September 15 The National Unity Government (NUG) Acting President Duwa La Shi La and Prime Minister Mann Win Khine Than sent a congratulatory letter on September 14, commending the military capabilities and bravery of the People's Defense Joint Forces that entered and attacked the coup military's Tachileik Air Base in Mandalay Region as a "special operation." The operation was carried out on the afternoon of September 10 by district regiments, drone forces (MDDS), township People's Defense Committees, STF, and the Shwebo District Joint Forces, under the leadership of the Myingyan District Military Command. Not only were the locations where the military's YAK-130 fighter jets were parked precisely approached and attacked, but five members of the air defense force LSC-7, including Colonel Myo Lwin Htun, were killed. The letter stated that they deeply respected and honored the sacrifice and dedication of the three revolutionary comrades who sacrificed their lives during the operation, and expressed their deepest condolences to the bereaved families.
