BuCor Transfers 600 Inmates to Davao Facility for Decongestion
The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) has transferred 600 inmates from Metro Manila facilities to Davao, aiming to ease overcrowding at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) and prepare for its eventual closure. The transfer included 500 male and 100 female inmates.
