Prabowo Administration to Launch Rp 29.5 Trillion Food and Wage Subsidies in Q4

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto plans to disburse approximately Rp 29.5 trillion (around $2 billion USD) in food aid and wage subsidies in the fourth quarter of 2026 to maintain public purchasing power. The food aid includes 10 kg of rice for three months, while wage subsidies will provide Rp 300,000 per month for three months.
